Ready to become a roller derby player?

We have begun our Fresh Meat intake program, taking in new recruits until March 5! The Fort McMurray Roller Derby League will share with you everything you ever wanted to know about roller derby and more! No previous skating skills required! The program teaches you the basics from the ground up! Training is for to both men and women (18+) interested in playing roller derby, either as a skater and/or a referee.

Practices are between 1.5 and 2 hours long and will be every Sunday and Tuesday of each week. February practices will consist of off-skate conditioning and are structured to help prepare you for the on-skate training portion of the program.

support the betties

Hosting home games can be challenging as a non-profit group. There are costs associated with renting practice/game space, marketing materials, merchandise, insurance, etc.

We know all of our fans cannot attend every game to show their support. There is an alternative option to support the Betties 2016 season by donating to our gofundme account. Any monetary donation is truly appreciated!

A huge thank you for all of your help! We hope to see you at one of our games cheering us on!
